Son to Cops: 'Daddy Killed My Mommy'

In this chilling story from Illinois, a 4-year-old boy allegedly watched his dad beat his mom to death -- a warning to us all to be on the lookout for domestic violence.

A man beat his wife to death with a weightlifting bar Wednesday as their 4-year-old son watched, prosecutors in Illinois charged Thursday.

. An autopsy report stated she was hit in the head more than 10 times. 

When officers originally arrived at the family's home on Dec. 19 the first person they saw was the couple's 4-year-old son. The boy, whose face and clothing had blood spatters, told police, "Daddy killed my mommy," prosecutors said.

The suspect is being held on $5 million bail. If he posts bail a judge has ordered that he must turn in his American and Egyptian passports.
