Shots Fired On Victoria Avenue, But Nothing Found

Calls just after midnight brought out San Leandro police who searched the area without success.

 

San Leandro police got several calls that shots were fired on or around the 700 block of Victoria Avenue just after midnight Wednesday but officers dispatched to the scene found nothing.

Reports on the Broadmoor neighbor email list varied as to the number of shots fired; one person counted 10, another 36.

The police department's activity log shows a series of 911 calls about 12:50 am Thursday.

The log states simply "unable to locate" leaving neighbors with a mystery.
