Shots Fired At Marina Square But No One Hurt

Shooter gets away. Victims don't report the incident.

At 7:35 p.m. Sunday, San Leandro police received a call of shots being fired in the area of the Men’s Warehouse located at 1239 Marina Blvd.

Officers arrived on scene and contacted Marina Square security guards who said they had heard multiple shots being fired.

Officers did not locate any suspects or victims but they did find a spent shell casing in the parking lot where it is suspected the incident occurred.

A witness saw a Hispanic male in his late late 20s, of stocky build, about five-feet, eight-inches tall, wearing a dark beanie cap and dark jacket, fire multiple rounds at a vehicle parked in the shopping center.

The suspect reportedly fled the area on foot east-bound Marina Blvd.

The victim vehicle was not located and the San Leandro Police Department did not receive any phone calls from area hospitals reporting the incident.

Police are asking for help in solving the case.
