Mentally-Impaired Man Who Had Wandered Away From An Adult Care Facility Has Returned

Freddie Gibson, 45, came back Wednesday.

A mentally impaired man who had wandered away from an adult assisted living facility in unincorporated San Leandro on Tuesday returned on Wednesday, according to a report from Inside Bay Area.com.

The Alameda County Sheriff's Office had initially put out an alert for Freddie Gibson, 45, after he went missing from the Peace Home assisted living facility at 2076 Strang Ave.

They said he had the mental capacity of of a five-year-old.
