San Leandro Youth Minister, One of 92 Arrested in Florida Prostitution Sting

A San Leandro Youth Minister was one of 92 people who were arrested in Florida during a prostitution sex sting between May 8 and 11.

Samuel Yoon, 45, was in Orlando for a youth-ministry conference when he went to an undercover location to have sex with who he thought was a 14-year-old girl, according to a report from the Orlando Sentinel.

Yoon has been a youth pastor for the past six years at the New Community Mission Church the Sentinel reports.

Backpage.com, a website allowing users to post classified ads, was used in most of the communicating during the sting, a Sheriff told the Sentinal.

According to the Sentinel, 92 men and women are being charged with "advertising to commit prostitution or soliciting others for prostitution."

Among the 92 suspects arrested, 12 were pimps, 39 were alleged prostitutes and 39 were suspected for wanting to pay for sex with a prostitute, and two were arrested on other charges, the Sentinel reports.
