San Leandro Man Crashes Into Castro Valley House

Medical condition causes driver's pickup truck to swerve, hitting a parked BMW and destroying a flower box before coming to rest.

 

An 18-year-old San Leandro man had a sudden medical situation that caused him to swerve his pickup truck into a house at 414 Terry Avenue in Castro Valley, the Contra Costa Times reported.

The man, Jaroslaw Jagoda, 18, lost control of his 2011 white Ford Ranger pickup and struck a BMW X5 that was parked in the driveway and hit a flower box but caused little other damage as the vehicle came to a stop against the house.

The incident happened about 12:30 pm. There were no serious injuries.

In a similar incident last month, a 24-ton Waste Management on the 4500 block of Cristy Way, ruining a graduation party but causing no serious injury.
