Romeo Weaver Identified As Shooting Victim

21-year-old was fatally shot in the unincorporated area.

 

Bay City News -- A man who was fatally shot in unincorporated San Leandro earlier this month has been identified as 21-year-old Romeo Weaver.

Alameda County sheriff's Sgt. J.D. Nelson said, Weaver, a San Leandro resident, was found in an apartment in the 1100 block of Kentwood Lane at about 12:15 a.m. on Sept. 16 after deputies responded to reports of shots fired.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Sheriff's investigators are still seeking information in the case that will lead them to the shooter, Nelson said.
