Robbers Target Pizza Parlor and Liquor Store

Little Ceasar's Pizza and Taggarts Liquor were both hit by two separate robbers within 30 minutes of each other on Tuesday evening.

A pizza parlor and liquor store were robbed within 30 minutes of each other last night.

At around 9 p.m., a suspect entered Little Ceasar's Pizza at 1254 Davis St. The suspect pointed a handgun at the clerk and demanded the clerk give him money. The clerk cooperated and afterwards, the suspect ran towards Davis Street.

The suspect is described as an adult black man, around 20 to 30 years old, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall with a large build. He was wearing dark clothing during the time of the robbery.

"The clerk in this robbery used good common sense and cooperated. When victims or witnesses decide to fight back there is no way to anticipate for how a suspect may react," said Lieutenant Randall Brandt said.

Thirty minutes after this robbery, another one took place at at 2019 Doolittle Dr. This suspect was also armed with a handgun and demanded the clerk give him money. The clerk ended up cooperating as well and the suspect took off after taking the money.

This suspect is described as a black adult man, approximately 20 years old, around 5 feet 10 inches tall and medium build, who also wore dark clothing at the time of the robbery.

"Our investigators are encouraging any witnesses who could provide any helpful information to come forward. Maintaining public safety is most important and we are actively investigating any leads that develop," said
Lieutenant Randall Brandt.
