Two men were arrested Saturday night after San Leandro Police stopped their car they for a traffic violation and then searched it, allegedly finding three guns, including one that had been reported stolen.
In custody are Floyd Lawrence, 19, of Stockton and Brian Clark, 18, of Union City.
Police say the traffic incident occurred just before 7 pm on Saturday, June 30 near the 15200 block of Hesperian Blvd.
According to the police account, when officers stopped the car to write a ticket, they discovered that one of the men was on probation with a condition that allowed them to search him and the car.
Police say they found three handguns hidden inside the center console of the car, including one that had been reported stolen.
