Police, Neighbors Issue Alert About Suspicious Teenagers
On Sunday, June 5 two young women approached two children on the street and offered them candy and a ride home.

The incident happened on Cary Drive near San Jose Street around 1:45 p.m. on June 5. A young boy and girl were walking on the sidewalk from the pedestrian bridge on Cary Drive when they were approached by the women, according to an alert sent out on a neighborhood list serve.
One woman — described as Asian, possibly 16-years-old, with short hair, and wearing leather boots (possibly "Uggs"), a purple shirt and black overshirt — offered the kids a ride in their van. She said the women had candy in the van and that the children's parents had sent the women to pick them up.
