Police Log: Info Sought on 2 Cars Hit by Pellet Gunshots

Two vehicles sustained gunshot damage from some type of pellet gun Saturday morning in the area of  Castro and East 14th streets, according to the San Leandro Police Department.

Several residents called the department after hearing gunshots shortly after 9 a.m., police said.

No one was injured in the incident, but police remind citizens that shooting any type of gun within city limits is dangerous and illegal.
