San Leandro police found hundreds of pot plants and four pounds of marijuana ready for sale in a house on the 1500 block of Faris Street Tuesday.

According to police, the house was filled with more than 799 plants and was only being used for growing pot. It appears the cultivation operation had a capacity to grow approximately $30,000 worth of marijuana.

The house was controlled by a 42-year-old Oakland woman, Run Qing Chung. Police also obtained a search warrant for Chung’s residence located in the 800 block of Franklin Street, Oakland.
