Police Arrest Three Suspects Saturday In Daytime Burglary On 141st Avenue

Officers responding to 911 call pursue getaway vehicle seen driving past crime scene.

Three suspected burglars were arrested Saturday after a witness reported a daytime break-in and provided a description of the alleged getaway car.

At one point the suspects apparently drove past the scene of the break-in, followed by a patrol car, according to a press release.

Police say the incident began at 11:10 a.m. Saturday when they got a 911 call about a burglary in progress on the 1700 block of 141st Avenue.

A witness told police dispatchers of hearing a loud crash of glass and someone saying "let's go."

The witness saw a suspect run from the back of the house and get into a brown 1990s Ford Crown Victoria parked in the driveway of the victim's residence. The car then sped off.

Officer Dan Sellers spotted the suspect vehicle on 143rd Avenue and Wake Avenue while other officers verified that a break-in had occurred.

Police say that at one point the burglar drove past the victim's house with a police car in pursuit.

Sellers and other police units stopped the car and arrested two adults and a juvenile who was not identified. The adults were Patrick Jacobson, 21, of San Francisco and Diamond Walker, 22, who said he was a transient from Oakland.

Inside the vehicle police found several items allegedly stolen from the victim's house. They were returned.
