Police Arrest Oakland Woman, Accused of Driving Car Stolen from Alameda

San Leandro Police say an Oakland woman was arrested on Monday morning after she was found driving a car stolen from Alameda.

Police are crediting a license plate reading system for alerting a patrol officer to the stolen car.

According to a statement released by police, the officer had been driving Northbound on E. 14th Street, near Juana Ave. around 10:38 a.m. when he was alerted to the stolen car.

The officer stopped the car and arrested 44-year-old Bonnie Silveria on suspicion of auto theft.

but did she take the car ? how did sheget hold of the car ? but patch should get with it and say what happen in court and all that . why put stuff out a week later for ? isshe out on bail or still in jail ?
