On Wednesday, three men arrested for a string of armed robberies throughout the Bay Area last summer plead no contest to their robbery charges.
The Contra Costa Times reports Alex Crisp, 29, of Vallejo; Trenton Frolander, 19, of Vallejo and Jabari Knight-Jenkins, 20, of Fairfield entered the pleas on Monday at the Fremont Hall of Justice. The pleas stemmed from armed robberies involving Craigslist ads that took place last August in eight cities across the Bay Area, police said.
The crimes took place in Alameda, San Leandro, Oakland, Berkeley, Fremont, San Jose, Pinole, Fairfield and unincorporated Alameda County.

In each case, the victim reported that they had all placed an advertisement on Craigslist selling expensive shoes, electronics or designer watches, according to the Times.
After the suspects contacted the victims by telephone or e-mail, a meeting place was set, suspects and victims met and at some point, the suspects produced a firearm and demanded the items.
