Oakland Man Arrested in Connection With 2011 San Leandro Shooting

By Bay City News

Police arrested the final suspect Friday in connection with a shooting that left three victims dead and three injured in San Leandro in October 2011.

Oakland resident, Thomas Walker Jr., 24, was arrested Friday in Hayward in connection with the 2011 homicides, San Leandro police said.

On Oct. 2, 2011, six victims were shot after a party in San Leandro. Three of the victims died in the shooting, police said. Detectives identified five suspects who were responsible for the homicides and four were arrested within months of the shooting, according to police.

Detectives were unable to locate Walker and reported him as a wanted person to local law enforcement agencies. Agents from the U.S. Marshals Service located Walker and took him into custody on Friday, police said.
