This is a summary of incidents reported on the San Leandro Police Department's daily activity log from Sunday, July 1st though Saturday, July 7th.
Police made 63 arrests. Residents reported one assault, 23 batteries, 26 burglaries and five robberies.

Sunday, July 1st
12 arrests on today’s police blotter. Citizens reported three batteries, one burglary and one robbery.
At 1:48 a.m. battery was reported on the 15600 block of Wicks Boulevard.
Police were dispatched to the 1100 block of East 14th Street at 8:50 p.m. in response to a reported robbery. A report was filed.
Citizens reported hearing shots fired at 8:51 p.m. on the 300 block of MacArthur Boulevard. No units were dispatched to the area.
Monday, July 2nd
Five batteries and five burglaries (three residential and two auto burglaries) were reported on today’s police blotter. No assaults or robberies were reported. Ten arrests were made.
A battery was reported at 12:51 a.m. on the 500 block of Bancroft Avenue.
Another battery was reported on the corner of West Estudillo Avenue and Clarke Avenue at 6:38 p.m. The suspect was gone on arrival.
A home burglary was reported at 4:12 p.m. on the 1700 block of 137th Avenue. Police investigated and filed a report.
Tuesday, July 3rd
Seven arrests were made. No assaults or robberies reported today. Four batteries and nine burglaries (five residential and four vehicle) were reported to SLPD.
A battery was reported at 12:07 a.m. on the 13800 block of East 14th Street.
A burglary on the 300 block of Dowling Boulevard prompted a police unit to be dispatched at 11:16 a.m. a report was filed.
Residents were home when suspected burglars entered a residence on Harlan Street at 11:59 a.m. Police investigated the burglary and submitted a report.
Wednesday, July 4th
It was nothing too out of the ordinary for this Fourth of July. Seven arrests, three batteries, two residential burglaries, and one robbery were recorded on today’s police blotter.
A battery reported at 2:07 a.m. on the 100 block of Pelton Center Way prompted a police unit to be dispatched. Police did not locate a suspect when they arrived.
At 3:50 a.m. a burglary was reported on the 1600 block of Neptune Drive. A report as filed.
Another burglary was reported on the 2300 block of Marina Boulevard. The burglary was reported at 10:27 p.m. SLPD did not locate a suspect.
A robbery was reported on the 15500 block of East 14th Street at 1:15 p.m. police conducted field interviews, recorded statements and filed a report.
Thursday, July 5th
No robberies or assaults on today’s blotter. Six arrests, two batteries and four burglaries (three residential and one auto burglary) were reported.
At 1:29 p.m. a battery was reported on the 13800 block of East 14th Street.
A burglary of an occupied residence was reported at 5:29 a.m. on the 1300 block of Jean Way. A report was filed.
Another home was reportedly burglarized while occupants were home at 12:58 p.m. on the 2000 block of Nome Street.
Friday, July 6th
SLPD arrested seven suspects today. Three batteries, three burglaries (two auto and one residential burglary), and one robbery was reported.
A battery was reported on the 15500 block of East 14th Street at 12:59 p.m. SLPD arrested a suspect.
At 5:31 p.m. SLPD received a report of a burglary on the 1200 block of Minerva Street. A report was filed.
Someone reported a robbery at 4:15 p.m. on the corner of Williams Street and Washington Avenue. A report was filed.
Saturday, July 7th
Three robberies, two home burglaries, three batteries, and one assault ended this week’s police blotter. A total of 14 arrests were made.
A reported burglary at 11:23 a.m. prompted police to be dispatched to the 14900 block of Edgemoor Street. A report was filed.
A battery was reported on the 2700 block of San Leandro Boulevard at 6:25 p.m. The suspect was gone when police arrived.
The only assault reported this week happened on the 15200 block of Hesperian Boulevard at 11:13 p.m. The log reports a deadly weapon being involved. SLPD did not find a suspect.
