Motorcyclist Injured in San Leandro Crash Thursday
A motorcyclist who lost control of his bike after clipping a moving car Thursday was hospitalized following the crash, police said.
Inside Bay Area reports San Leandro police were called out to the collision scene about 3:45 p.m. and found the motorcyclist ejected and on the ground near the west side of Doolittle Drive near Polvorosa Avenue. The name and age of the motorcyclist was not released; his condition was not immediately available.
Officers interviewed several witnesses who reportedly said the motorcyclist was driving south on Doolittle Drive when the bike clipped a car's right rear bumper causing the rider to fly off the bike. The driver of the car was not injured. It was not immediately known if speed was a factor in the collision.
