Sessoms thought the victim was trying to steal his son’s cell phone and, during the argument, pulled out a pellet, shooting the victim repeatedly in the face and causing minor injuries, according to the Daily Review.

According to the Daily Review, the suspect also taunted a responding officer to shoot him before additional officers arrived and arrested Sessoms on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.
