A man is at a hospital this morning after being shot while in his car on Christmas Eve in San Leandro, police said.
As of 8:30 am Christmas day the victim was still alive, according to the Alameda County Coroner's Bureau.
The following details are from the San Leandro police report.
Police responded to a report of a shooting in the 200 block of West Broadmoor Boulevard at 7:52 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found an unresponsive man in his 60s sitting in the driver's seat of a white SUV, suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper body.
The driver's side door window was shattered, according to police. The man was transported to a hospital.
His condition is unknown. There have been no arrests. The case is under investigation.
