Man Exposes Himself To Mom Outside School

Police are investigating the indecent exposure that occurred Thursday afternoon at Jefferson Elementary School on San Leandro's Bancroft Avenue.

 

A man exposed himself to a mother picking up her child at Jefferson Elementary School Thursday, police said.

According to a press release, at about 5 pm a man on a bicycle rode up on Bancroft Avenue and engaged the woman in conversation in front of the school.

When the woman looked at him she realized the man had unzipped his pants and exposed his private parts.

Police say the man rode away in an easterly direction as the woman phoned police to report the incident.

The suspect is described as a white male with light brown hair, wearing a green polo shirt and blue jean pants. He was 5'9" and weighed about 200 pounds.

“Our investigators are taking this incident very seriously," said Lt. Randall Brandt who encouraged any witnesses to come forward.
