Jack In The Box Robbed At Gunpoint

San Leandro police are looking for a suspect who jumped over the counter to grab money from the cash register

A Jack In The Box restaurant was robbed by a suspect who pointed a semi-automatic handgun at a clerk.

Police say the suspect entered the fast food eatery at 15205 Hesperian Blvd. at 8:45 p.m. Thursday.

Witnesses say the gunman pointed his weapon at the clerk and ordered him to open the cash register.

The suspect then jumped over the counter and grabbed the money from the register. He ran out the restaurant's back door.

The suspect is described as an African-American man in his late 20s to mid-30s, 6 feet tall with a medium build. He was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, a black ski mask and black pants.
