Home Invasion Robbery: Intruders Tie Up, Pepper Spray Man, Ransacking Home

The incident occurred in the 1100 block of Donovan Drive

A San Leandro resident was tied up, sprayed with a "pepper spray type chemical" and blindfolded during a home invasion robbery yesterday afternoon at a home in the 1100 block of Donovan Drive.

According to a Nixle Alert sent out by San Leandro Police, the victim told police the two men forced their way into the home around 2:20 p.m. One of the suspects was armed with a handgun.

Police say the suspects ransacked the home and fled. The victim, who was uninjured during the incident, was able to notify a neighbor to call police. 

The amount of loss had not yet been determined, according to police.

be nice if the police can find the ones that did this, make them pay for damages and give them five years in jail plus a fine .
