Home Invasion Robbery at Britannia Lane Over the Weekend

Two suspects broke into a family's home through a window over the weekend. Police are investigating the incident.

San Leandro Police Department is investigating a late-night home invasion robbery Sunday evening, according to the Mercury News.

Two suspects broke into a home around 11 p.m. on the 2000 block of Britannia Lane Sunday evening and physically threatened a family, the Mercury News reports.

No one was injured.

Police told the Mercury News that the family was sleeping inside their home when two suspects climbed into a window of the residence.

The suspects demanded money from the family and threatened to harm them with some type of hand tool, the Mercury News reports.

The victims cooperated and the suspects left the home with cash, the Mercury News reports.

The two suspects are described to be 5 ft. 10 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds. They wore dark clothing and one of them was armed with a hand tool, the Mercury News reports.
