Gunman Robs Flyers Gas Station On Merced

Flees on foot after robbery Monday night.

 

A gunman robbed the Flyers Gas Station on Merced Street Monday night and escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No one was hurt.

Police say they responded to the call about 9:55 pm. A clerk said an amed man entered the station and demanded money. The clerk complied and the suspect fled on foot, police said.

Police described the suspect as a well-built black man in his 30s, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and dressed in a dark sweatshirt and pants. No particulars about the gun were released.
