Photos Released Of Five Arrested in Marijuana 'Grow House' Bust
Police seize 82 plants, six guns, some 'ecstasy' and more than $40,000 in contraband.

Five people after police discovered a marijuana "grow house" containing weapons and marijuana with a street value of $30,000.
Arrested and charged with weapons violations and possession of drugs for sale were 26-year-old Van Nguyen of San Leandro and 21-year-old Khoa Tran of Alameda.

Police also arrested Tiffany Huynh, 20, of San Leandro, and Vincent Nguyen and Loc Huynh, both 19, of Oakland, on suspicion of similar felony charges, spokesman Lt. Jeff Tudor said.

- 82 mature plants with an estimated yield of 8 to 10 pounds of marijuana
- 2 pounds of marijuana packed for sale
- 7 grams of the powder form of MDMA, which is used to make "ecstasy" pills
- 4 semi-automatic handguns
- 2 assault rifles
- $10,000 in cash
There has been over whether grow house busts should be a city priority.
