Bay City News -- One person was fatally shot near the Oakland Coliseum Monday night, police said.
Police received reports of the shooting at 8:50 p.m. in the 900 block of 71st Avenue, about one block from the Oakland Coliseum BART station.

The victim was transported to the hospital and pronounced dead upon arrival, police said.
No suspects are in custody and the homicide remains under investigation, according to police.
