The San Leandro Police Officers Association will hold a spaghetti feed Saturday night from 5:30 pm 10 pm at the Marina Community Center at 15301 Wicks Blvd. to help raise money for its Bikes for Tykes giveaway.
Last year the effort bought bikes and helmets for .
This year San Leandro Police Officer Louie Brandt, who coordinates the effort, would like to raise enough to buy 400. So he is starting his fundraising efforts earlier.
The event will feature all-you-can-eat spaghetti and French Bread.
There is an additional charge for wine, beer and soda.
There will be raffle prizes and a silent auction featuring Gent Jay Jewelry.
