San Leandro police officers have confirmed a shooting outside Bayfair Mall on Friday around 4:28 p.m.
The parking lot in front of Old Navy and Bed Bath & Beyond has been blocked according to NBC Bay Area.
Police found a 24-year old male victim in the parking lot, suffering from a gunshot wound. The wound appeared non-life threatening.

Police are still looking for the shooter. The suspect is described as an African-American male adult, who fled the scene in a white, compact vehicle.
Officers believe the shooting started with an argument between two people in front of Old Navy.

"We do not know what the argument was about," said Lt. Robert McManus.
No evacuations or shelter-in-places are in effect.
