BART 12th Street Station Reopened, Downtown Oakland Bus Service Still Affected
Temporary closure, bus disruptions due to police action to clear Occupy Oakland protests.
BART reopened its 12th Street Station at about 8:30 a.m. this morning, although the 14th St. and Ogawa Plaza entrance/exits remain closed.
The station had been closed temporarily as police from Oakland and other cities once again moved in to clear Occupy Oakland protestors encamped in Frank Ogawa Plaza.
AC Transit service was also disrupted. Commuters should check 511.org for the latest information on routes affected.
