Bank of the West Robbery: Third Robbery in 9 Days in San Leandro

San Leandro police officers responded to report of a bank robbery at Bank of the West, located at 15075 Farnsworth Street, on Wednesday afternoon. 

The suspect entered the bank and presented a note demanding money to the bank teller.

The teller cooperated and the suspect fled in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 30-years-old and 5’2” tall. He was wearing a black knit cap with a dark colored long sleeve shirt and jeans.

Lt. Randall Brandt stated, “Our staff is diligently working on this case. We have our investigative units reviewing forensic evidence and we will release additional information to public as soon as possible."

This is the third bank robbery in nine days.
