Armed Robber Targets Taggart's Liquors Second Time in Three Weeks

The liquor store on Doolittle Drive was the target of another armed robbery in a little more than three weeks.

For the second time in a little more than three weeks, armed robbers targeted .

According to San Leandro Police, an armed suspect robbed the liquor store located at 2019 Doolittle Dr. Thursday evening around 9:30 p.m.

He is identified as a black man between 20 and 30 years old, 5 ft. 10 inches, a medium build and wearing a dark-colored hooded jacket.

Witnesses told police that the suspect entered the store and demanded money from the clerk at gunpoint. The clerk cooperated and gave the suspect what he asked for.

The store was by an adult black man, around 20 to 30 years old, approximately 5 ft. 7 in. tall with a large build. He was wearing dark clothing during the time of the robbery.

"Our staff is committed to catching this suspect. If anyone observes suspicious activity, please don't hesitate to report it to our communications center immediately," said Lt. Randall Brandt

Detectives are actively investigating this incident and following up on leads.
