Armed Robber Still on Loose After Taking Cash From E. 14 Store

The suspect robbed a store employee on the 14800 block of E. 14 Street Monday morning and took off with an unknown amount of cash.

A robber is still on the loose after holding up a store employee at gunpoint Monday morning.

At around 8:45 a.m., the robber arrived at the 14800 block of E. 14 Street demanding that the store employee give him cash, according to San Leandro Police. The victim cooperated and gave the suspect an unknown amount of cash. The suspect then ran off.

Officers saturated the area looking for the suspect but were not able to find him.

According to police, the suspect is described to be a black man, approximately 30 years old, at around 5 ft. 10 inches tall with dark clothing and armed with a handgun.

“This case is being actively investigated and our investigators are determined to identify and arrest the suspect responsible," said Sandra R. Spagnoli Chief of Police
