San Leandro Death Notices

Thomas McCurdy, a lifelong resident of San Leandro, was a 20-year veteran of the U.S. Army and worked for 36 years for the U.S. Postal Service. McCurdy passed away on July 21 at the age of 87.

Fred Petersen, a longtime resident of San Leandro, was a World War Two veteran from Canada. He was a retired member of the Northern California Millwrights Union Local 102. He was also active with the Boy Scouts of America. Petersen passed away on July 21 at the age of 88.
