Applications are now being accepted for San Leandro's Youth Advisory Commission (YAC).

YAC meets twice per month during the school year. It serves as an advisory body, advising and providing input when requested to the City Council on issues that affect the San Leandro youth community.

The advisory body also interacts with other public and private agencies on youth-related policies and programs, creates and recommends projects and events for the San Leandro youth community and members will learn about the role, services, and programs of local government. YAC also helps organize City events for youth and families.
