Off the Grid Launches New Monday Market in Hayward

Foodies, rejoice! A flock of food trucks will be parking in downtown Hayward starting Monday, Aug. 6.

Off the Grid will launch a new weekly market every Monday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Triangle Lot between Foothill Boulevard, Mission Boulevard., and D Street in Hayward. Enjoy live music from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

There's a parking garage on Mission Boulevard. at C Street. Limited street parking is available on Main Street.

Street food vendors will gather to bring the energy and deliciousness of Off the Grid to this new location.

The rotating line-up of participating trucks includes:

• Kinders BBQ
• The Chairman
• Sanguchon
• Seoul on Wheels
• We Sushi
• Pacific Puffs 
• 510 Burger
• Curry Up Now
• House of Siam
• Yum Silog

Off the Grid began in June 2010 with the simple idea that grouping Street Food vendors together would create an experience that would allow neighbors to connect with friends, and families to reconnect with each other.

Since then Off the Grid has worked hard to develop markets that are both located in urban cores of cities, and that utilize spaces that are not easily activated effectively throughout the day.

Currently, Off the Grid operates 18 weekly markets in the greater Bay Area, and works with more than 150 vendors weekly. At its core, Off the Grid believes in the power of a shared food experience to connect communities.
