Teams of students compete at regional-level tournaments, such as the one being held in San Leandro, with the top teams qualifying for the National Championships in Washington, DC on April 28.

The National History Bowl is a competition for teams of students. It also runs a competition for individual students, the National History Bee.

The State Bees and Bowls are held on the same dates and locations so students can participate in both. For more on the National History Bee you can visit its website at www.historybee.com .
