San Leandro Celebrates Holiday Season with Tree Lighting Ceremony

Start the holiday season with your San Leandro community at the tree lighting ceremony and "It's a Wonderful Night" celebration on Friday night.

The City of San Leandro will be celebrating the holiday season with a holiday tree in the Civic Center Plaza, along with festive lights throughout downtown.

A tree lighting ceremony will be held on Friday at 5:30 p.m. at Civic Center Plaza. This event will include complimentary light snacks and refreshments.

Following the tree lighting ceremony, attendees are encouraged to go downtown for the “It’s a Wonderful Night” celebration that starts at 6 p.m. in Joaquin Plaza. There will be entertainment, horse drawn carriages and photos with Santa.
