Students Celebrate Coyote Hills Regional Park's Species, Habitats

Senator Corbett invites families, local residents, community representatives and educators to come together on Friday to help celebrate 18 students and their artwork that shows the diverse habitats and species at Coyote Hills Regional Park.

Senator Ellen M. Corbett will honor the 18 student awardees of the “Habitat Means Home” Poster Contest on Friday at Senator Corbett’s district office from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

The annual “Habitat Means Home” Poster Contest is sponsored by East Bay Regional Park District, the Citizens Committee to Complete the Refuge, the Ohlone Audubon Society, and the Friends of Coyote Hills and Carin High. 

The contest encourages students to submit artwork that celebrates the diverse habitats and species of Coyote Hills Regional Park while also focusing on the importance of environmental preservation.

Ice cream and refreshments will be served.
