San Lorenzo Motivational Speaker Needs New Wheelchair: Donate Today

Help Arthur Renowitzky buy a new wheelchair so he can continue to teach the youth about the dangers of gun violence.

A San Lorenzo resident and motivational speaker lost his wheelchair after a charter bus crushed it in Southern California recently.

Arthur Renowitzky can’t get a new wheelchair because the bus driver gave him a fake name and bad insurance information, according to an ABC 7 article.

In 2007, Renowitzky was shot and paralyzed during a robbery attempt in San Francisco.

After the shooting, he started rapping about overcoming adversity. Renowitzky also founded the Life Goes On Foundation — a non-profit organization that is dedicated to finding a cure for paralyzing spinal cord injuries. But most importantly, the organization teaches the youth about the dangers of gun violence and helping find a cure for paralyzing spinal cord injuries.

Without a wheelchair, Renowitzky cannot go to his speeches at juvenile halls or community events.
