Jay Tontz, local Professor of Business and noted economist, will be the featured speaker at the San Leandro Rotary Club on Wednesday January 16. He will speak on the "State of the U.S. Economy" and provide a financial forecast for 2013.
Dr. Tontz was previously the Dean of the Cal State Hayward School of Business and Economics, and is currently an Adjunct Professor at Diablo Valley College, San Ramon campus. He has founded several MBA programs internationally in Moscow, Vienna, Austria, Hong Kong, Beiing and Singapore. The meeting is open to the public. The San Leandro Rotary Club meets at 12 noon at the Sequoia Country Club, 4550 Heafey Road, Oakland. The cost for lunch is $20. Please RSVP to Ed Niu, 510-592-4351 or eniu@ilnenterprises.com. It's more like the latter. Can't wait for the drive-by shootings and muggings to ratchet up when we thrown away $9M in tax dollars on building a new downtown SL BART ghetto.
