A playgroup for Moms and their little ones meets regularly in San Leandro. Called East Bay Moms Playgroup , it is geared for mothers in their 20's and 30's with children born between 2006 and 2011. Mothers and children outside of those demographic brackets are welcome to join too.
The group aims to find fun and free things to do in San Leandro, Berkeley, Emeryville and Oakland. It meets on Tuesdays from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Every Tuesday (exept the first Tuesday of the month) the group starts its playdate at a Mommy and Me Educational Playtime at located at 951 MacArthur Blvd., San Leandro. It offers a free indoor play space for infants through pre-kindergartners.

It also holds other events during the month including play dates, stroller walks, trips to coffee shops and museums and moms night outs. Mothers in the group take turn planning and hosting events.
