African American Business Mixer

The San Leandro African American Business Council will hold a mixer March 1 at 6 p.m. at the Sister Cities Room.

According to the council's website, its mission is to be an advocate for the African American business community, to provide access to political and financial resources historically unavailable to the community and to provide opportunities for personal and professional development  in the areas of business, leadership, communications, management, technology and finance. It offers support and networking opportunities for its members.

The non-profit council holds regular educational seminars that address the specific needs of its members and holds  meetings that provide marketing and networking opportunities.
