San Leandro Library Big Read - Bollywood Film

Experience Devdas, a Bollywood film with music, dancing and color that only India can produce. After his wealthy family prohibits him from marrying the woman he loves, Devdas’ life spirals further and further out of control as he takes up alcohol and a life of vice to numb the pain. 


Free admission and no prior registration required. Running time is 3 hours. There will be an intermission with Chai and snacks. This film is not rated, due to mature themes in the film, parental guidance is suggested. English subtitles. For questions call 510-577-3971.
