Creek Clean Up at Root Park Saturday, January 26 9:30-12:30
Help Friends of San Leandro Creek by removing litter from San Leandro Creek at Root Park. We recommend that you wear sturdy shoes, long pants and sleeves and mosquito repellent. Bring gloves if you have them. FSLC will provide latex gloves, trash bags, snacks and drinks. For more information, call Susan Levenson with Friends of San Leandro Creek at 510-577-6069. All participants are required to fill out the waiver form. Children under 14 years of age are welcome at creek clean ups, but must be accompanied by an adult. The Friends will certify volunteer hours for community service.It's up to all of us to keep our creek healthy!
