Matt was a lovely guy with a family. He was very well liked. There's a service on Thursday at Guerrero mortuary but I don't yet know the time. I do know there is a bit of a fundraiser get together at the Englander at 4 on the same day. Matt had two children also so if you feel like you'd want to donate you can do it there.

Richard, just called the Englander.. they said it's not the fundraiser but a remembrance/celebration event of his life by family and friends. The Englander told us that they are thinking about doing a fundraiser but nothing set in stone just yet. They said they will contact us once they get more information on this.

That's good. I think though that if anyone wants to come they should and some of the folks organizing it will be taking any donations people want to give I think. I was just told by one of the folks organizing it that anyone's welcome.

Matt was a good friend, great neighbor, and a very good father. The community will miss him, our prayers go out to his family and young children.
