Giant Spider Visits San Leandro Home for Halloween

Along came a spider and sat down beside her . . .

Miss Muffet must be beside herself.

A giant spider has crept into a home at 450 Pershing Drive in San Leandro, to frighten trick or treaters away.

The spider is best seen at night. You can walk under and press a button that makes it talk. A grave, skulls and three skeletons are hanging out on the roof.

Locate this spooky site on Patch's Halloween Decoration map. List your display, or publicize a shy neighbor who has really put on a show.

Of Patch has already shown you Batman fixing a flat tire in front of 975 Estudillo Street. Not sure if the Caped Crusader also needs jumper cables, so you might ask him if you drive by for a look.

There's also life-like skeletons on the roof at Pershing and something eerie wrapped in a spider's web on the fence. I don't know if you can see them at night. Day or night, this house is a treat.
