Why Go: This Depression-era musical featuring the popular comic-strip legend, Annie, is in its final weekend of production.

“RODGERS & HART: A CELEBRATION”

Where/When: Douglas Morrisson Theatre; May 20 through June 12, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m.

Why Go: This one of a kind theatrical performance will highlight the works of composer Richard Rodgers and lyricist Lorenz Hart.

Pricing: $10-$28

CSU EAST BAY SPRING FEST 2011

Where/When: Pioneer Amphitheatre at CSU East Bay, Hayward; Saturday from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Why Go: The event will feature Grammy nominated singer and rapper Ryan Leslie, music producer and DJ Diplo (M.I.A., Major Lazer), the Ying Yang Twins, new wave-inspired rapper Theophilus London and rising LA rap sensation Kendrick Lamar.

Pricing: $5-$25

 7TH ANNUAL ONE CHILD AT A TIME BENEFIT

Where/When: Lake Chalet Seafood Bar & Grill, Oakland; Saturday from 7 p.m. to midnight

Why Go: The Child Abuse Listening, Interviewing and Coordination Center, known as CALICO, will hold its annual fundraiser, featuring professionally-run casino games and a spirited raffle.

Pricing: $75 in advance; $100 at the door
