3rd Annual Sharing is Caring Program

The 1st USCU Sharing is Caring program is back for its third year of giving. For every new loan from November 1 - December 31, 2013, 1st USCU will donate $10 to Toys For Tots and Alternative Family Services (AFS), benefiting foster youth.  All of the donations will be pooled at the end of the promotion period and split between the two charities. 

Additional Ways to Get Involved:
  • Make a monetary donation at any branch - be sure to fill out and post an "I support my community" post-it note in the branch
  • Drop off new un-wrapped toys at any branch
  • Drop off non-perishable food items for the Alameda County Community Food Bank at 9 of our branch locations
  • Visit our Virtual Food Drive to donate to the food bank online
 History of Giving

Since 2011, with your help, the Sharing is Caring program has helped raise nearly $14,000, over 2,100 pounds of food and hundreds of toys all supporting the Alameda County Community Food Bank (ACCFB) and Toys For Tots. Our generous members, as well as 1st USCU employees all contributed to making such a big impact.
