Traders Sporting Goods on East 14th Street used to be the Bay Area's biggest gun dealer until the store lost its license several years ago.
It subsequently moved out of San Leandro and into a store in Castro Valley.

Traders left behind two big vacancies on the north end of East 14th Street.
One of the empty storefronts, at the corner of East 14th Street and Best, has been filled by the Northern California Institute of Cosmetology.
